Connecting students and companies in innovative projects

The Innovation Effect (TIE) is a Norwegian innovation agency with a core business to recruit and lead interdisciplinary student teams in solving innovative challenges for company clients. We also facilitate credit-bearing practice programs in collaboration with the university sector, and innovation courses for company employees and managers.

Since 2015, TIE has completed over 140 innovation projects in collaboration with more than 400 students and 60 companies, such as Equinor, Atea, Telenor, HP, Orkla, KS and NHO. Our vision is to renew and improve existing products, services and processes for small and large companies across industries and sectors. Together, we create an innovation effect.

As a student in TIE's projects, you get the chance to work as a real consultant, with a mandate to challenge the company and present innovative solutions. TIE facilitates all projects and provide continuous guidance and mentoring. All projects are paid, part-time and can be combined with studies and other part-time jobs. You get practical and relevant work experience, new networks, a unique reference and recommendation letter and develop relevant skills for your future job.
